there's a deep scar in my heart caused by a friendship gone bad.

the people i used to consider family.. the ones i used to love as much as my young heart could handle. but now, i feel as if i'm a different person... i've grown into someone they can no longer accept.

but i can't change.

this is who i am.

i browse through pictures, all with familiar smiles i no longer see today. somehow, a question lingers in my mind.. "had i disobeyed my parents' rules, would i still be there with them, posing for the bright flashes of the camera? or is it just destiny that we have to end up this way?"

no. end is a harsh word, and so is goodbye. they say that pictures could paint a thousand words, and boy, were they clear with theirs. i guess now is just not a good time to rekindle friendships i feel i have sadly drifted away from, but hopefully, the time will come when i can be the friend they want me to be.
